For the past few days, I felt in my heart that I should share the important verses in scriptures regarding marriage and the role of husband and wife..the Word of God is our guide always..and lack of knowledge is dangerous..
BY living together you will learn a lot more,,but just a frame work of some verses will help you to prepare your hearts.. the secret of SUCCESS in any area of our lives is in Joshua 1:8..and it is always our choice what we do with the word,,either we become doers or just listen and donot obey! but I am sure you all would be doers of word,,and build a strong home on the ROCK of Christ and His Word as in LUke 6:45-49..storms and winds will come,,but the Lord is with you always..since He said "LET US GO OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE''..
Gen 2:18;Gen 2:23-25, the first wedding ,,,God uses 3 important words LEAVING - CLEAVING - BECOMING ONE FLESH..this is the foundation of a strong marriage..first is leaving your parents,,that doesn't mean you hate or forget them,,as the Bible teaches you need to honour them as long as you live for your own good..but it means..from the moment you make your wedding vows,,you leave them,,and now next to God, you give your partners the first place in your heart, to share and be transparent about everything....and cleave is like 2 pieces of paper is stuck with gum,so that both have to stick on together let come what happens, and NEVER talk of leaving each other, even for fun or in anger...... ..and thus both becoming one flesh.Matt 19:4-6..Respect each other always..

Pray together and share everything, listen well to each other....but grooms remember,,women are created with more speech faculties,,and so girls remember your partners may not chit chat like us ladies,,,always remember God joins a man and woman to complement each other..accept each one as they are , and don't try to be changing your partners and get frustrated!!..
You will learn a lot as life goes on...
There will be difference of opinions,,and may be arguments too,,so always humble yourselves and apoligise if you hurt each other,,and reconcile with each other before going to bed, and forgive each other, and donot rake up the past......pray together atleast once a day,and read the word together..and maintain your personal walk with God..see the good and praise worthy traits in each other and appreciate each other much..be teachable and correctable all through life..be kind to each other..
