THE CROSS OF CHRIST

The Apostle Paul has written in Heb 10:14 - For by one offering He has perfected forever them that are sanctified ..For us to live victoriously it is very important that we should know what Jesus Christ accomlished by offering Himself to die on the cross, and appropriate the victories of the cross for ourselves and for our family daily by faith.
1. Meditate on the love of God and of Jesus Christ for you even from the foundation of the world, and be thankful to him for His love which passeth all understanding.Rom 5:6-8; John 3:16; John 15:13; Jere 31:3; Eph 1:1-9.
2.Mediate everyday on the divine exchanges that took place when Christ died on the cross and confess this with your mouth and thank Him for it. Is. 53; Prov 18:20,21, Joshua 1:8.

The Divine Exchanges
1.Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness - that we might be made righteous with His righteousness II Corin 5:21.
2.Jesus was punished - that we might be forgiven Is 53:5; Eph 1:7.
3.Jesus bore all our sickness weakness, and pain and wounded for us - that we might be healed by His stripes Matt 8:17; Is 53:4,5; I Pet 2:24.
4.Jesus died our death - that we might recieve His life Heb 2:9; Heb 2:14-18; I John 5:11-13.
5.Jesus bore our sorrows - that we might recieve His joy Is 53:4; John 16:20-24.
6.Jesus endured our poverty - that we might share in His riches and abundance -II Corin 9:8; John 10:10.
7. Jesus bore our shame -that we might share in His glory -Heb 12:2; Heb 2:10.
8.Jesus bore our rejection - that we might have acceptance with the Father Is 53:3; Matt 27:46,50.
9.Jesus was made a curse - that we might enter into the blessings of Abraham and the blessings of the Holy Spirit by faith Gal 3:13,14;Deut 23:5; Deut 28:1-14.
10 Our old man or our old sinful nature was crucified with Him.Gal 2:20; Gal 5:24; Rom 13:14; Rom 6:6-8.
11.Jesus Christ who is God humbled Himself in obedience to the death of the cross -that we might be given by God that highly exalted Name which is above every name -JESUS CHRIST- Phil 2:9-11. Acts 4:10-12.

Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, and has totally triumphed Satan by His death and resurrection.I John 3:8; Col 2:13-15; Heb 2:14-18.

There is power in the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST - Lev 17:11; I John 1:7; Eph 1:11-18; Col 1:19,20; Heb 10:19-22; Heb 13:20,21; Rev 12:11.

Let the cross of Christ, His death, resurrection and the divine exchanges become the centre of your lives and glory in the cross of Christ everyday.
