BE WATCHFUL AND STRENGTHEN THE THINGS THAT REMAIN

In these last day, we need to be all the more watchful and strong, knowing that the war we face is not with flesh and blood, Eph 6 :11,12, and so we need to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Prov 24:10 says “if you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small.” Our whole Christian walk is by faith( Hab 2:4), and we come out of weakness into strength only by faith.(Heb 11:34)
1. BE STRONG IN THE LORD
Eph 6:10-( Ampli Bible) be empowered through your union with Him, draw your strength from Him(that strength which His boundless might provide) By faith abide in the Vine, for without Him we can do nothing..John 15:1-8. Daily mediate on Isaiah 40:27-31..Knowing the God who indwells you - verse 28..knowing your God makes you strong- Dan 11:32..If you everyday wait in His presence with faith, He will empower us to soar up like an eagle..so that you can run and not be weary, and walk and not faint or become tired!
2. BE STRONG IN THE GRACE THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS – II Tim 2:1.
Our whole Christian life - its by His grace we were saved and then serving God, giving to God, and living sincere godly lives also by His grace. II Corin 12:9,10 mediate on these verses and believe that His grace and His strength is sufficient for you. James 4:6..He gives grace to the humble..
3. BE STRONG BY THE WORD OF GOD ALWAYS ABIDING IN YOU.
I John 2:14. Man lives by the word, Matt 4:4, and the Word is lamp to our feet, and a light to our path Ps 119:105, when we abide in Him,and His Word abides in us, our prayers will be answered, John 15:7, and the Word perfects us II Tim 3:16,17, and His word is medicine to all our flesh Prov 4:20-22. We need to grow strong in the word, I Peter 2:1-3, and become doers of the Word and not just hearers James 1:18-25. Sword of the Spirit, in our spiritual war Eph 6:10-18. Word in heart will keep us from sinning Ps 119:9-11, Ps 37:31. Memorise scripture, then only we can use it as Jesus did and say “It is written” in our spiritual wars..Deut 11:8- Keep all commandments which I command you today that you may be STRONG and go in and possess the land.
4. BE STRONG IN THE FULNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU.
Eph 3:16; Col 3:11; Luke 24:49. Inner man needs to be strengthened day by day. Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed Acts 19:2, Luke 11:13. Holy Spirit in us, strengthens our prayer life, and gives understanding of the Word and give us the fruit of the spirit and gifts of the Spirit, and also power and boldness to be witnesses. Zech 4: 6,7; Romans 8: 26,27.
5. BE STRONG IN CONSISTANT PRAYER LIFE. I Thess 5:17, Romans 12:12.
Before Acts ch 2, how was the prayer life of the apostles? Mark 1:35-37; Matt 26: 37-46, Luke 22: 46 “Rise and pray” is what Jesus had to tell them.. how is your personal prayer life today?
Watch and pray – Luke 21: 34- 36
Pray without fainting- Luke 18:1-8
The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much- James 5:16
Prayer of faith – James 5: 15.
All night in prayer- Luke 6:12.
In everything by prayer let your request be made known - Phil 4:6,7.

Jere 33:3 -Call to ME, and I will answer you, and show you great and might things which you donot know.
Mediate on all the characters in the Bible and others in our times, who were used of God to accomplish great things, and they will all be men and women of prayer. The Korean church revival is the outcome of hours and nights of prayer.
In Daniel 6:10 we read about the prayer life of Daniel, who was then a Governor!! What can God testify today about the consistency of our prayer life?

Let us be watchful and strengthen ourselves in these 5 areas, and know that is it is not with our strength, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and let us reckon ourselves dead, and let the life of Christ be manifest in all these areas. Gal. 2:20, Romans 13:14, Romans 6:11.

Believe who you are IN CHRIST, and know that in Christ we are victors. II Corin 2:14.
